Using Your Local Agent

The property and casualty insurance products offered by ServiceMaster Consumer Services are set up as an exclusive program. This means that non-ServiceMaster businesses do not have access to our special coverages and special pricing.

The program is managed by Lipscomb & Pitts Insurance, LLC.

Consumer Services recognizes that there are times when a franchise owner prefers to use a local agent. In many cases, the franchisee sacrifices significant coverages in order to buy locally. At times, the coverages do not even meet the minimum requirements of the franchise agreement.

We have now arranged the program so that it fits everyone's needs! If you are currently in the program, nothing changes for you. If you wish to participate in the program by dealing directly with the program manager, you are welcome to do so. If you desire to maintain your relationship with your current agent, the program manager will send that agent half of the commission for every year that you participate in the program.

To include your agent, simply have your agent complete the on-line application including the agent information section. The program manager will do the rest!
